ICS Blog Hop - It's a Love Thing

Woo Hoo it's the first Wednesday of the month you know what that means RIGHT? ICS Blog hop time!  Our theme this month is It's A Love Thing since Valentine's Day is coming up in about a week!

I always try to make a cute valentine for my niece & nephew as we normally see them about this time of year for my nephew's birthday.  This year I used the super cute Stampin' Up! January Paper Pumpkin stamp set!  In case you didn't see the January kit here is the photo of it.

The moment I saw this kit I knew I had to use the chameleon stamp because we have a chameleon!  When my niece and nephew visit they love seeing her!!  I had to share a photo of her here!

I decided to do a cute gift card or money holder for my niece and nephew.  It started with a 4" x 11" piece of Lemon Lime Twist that was scored at 4" and 8".  The hearts and sentiment were then stamped in Lemon Lime Twist or Lovely Lipstick.  The blue heart came in the kit, but if you flip it over it's white on the other side.  I was able to easily color this side with the Lovely Lipstick marker.

The inside showcases the super cute chameleon stamp with coordinating sentiment.  Lemon Lime Twist is the perfect chameleon ink color!   The inside also shows the small pocket great for a gift card or money.

Here's a closer up photo of the inside that they are going to love!

I hope you enjoyed my cards!

The next stop in our blog hop is my good friend, Darla!
