ICS Blog Hop Fabulous Framelits

Welcome! It's ICS blog hop time! Our theme is ‪Fabulous Framelits!  I had to use my most favorite new framelits from Stampin' Up! the Everyday Jars!!  Here in the lower midwest we are in the middle of peach season.  Just last week I went to an orchard to pick some, and now I need to find some great recipes for peaches.  Peaches & canning were the inspiration for my card!

The card base is one of the new in colors, Emerald Envy.  The next layer is Whisper White cardstock with the peaches in Peekaboo Peach & Tangerine Tango.  The peaches were inked in Peekaboo Peach and then the Tangerine Tango was added with a sponge dauber.  The other wonderful combination for peaches I found out from another demonstrator is Peekaboo Peach with an accent of Flirty Flamingo.  The leaves were inked in Emerald Envy.  For the jars I stamped a bunch of just the peaches on Whisper White cardstock.  The jars were stamped in Tempting Turquoise on top of the cardstock of peaches and then cut out with the framelits.  The lids are Pacific Point ink on Pacific Point cardstock.  The sentiment is from Sheltering Tree and stamped in Emerald Envy on Peekaboo Peach.  It was cut out with the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets.  The inside of the card needed a jar of peaches too!

Thanks for stopping by my post in the ICS blog hop!
The next stop in your hop is the fantastic, Andrea!

  1. Wow that card is very lifelike! I've been playing with apricots this week. I am not a canning chick....so they have been going in my freezer, my oatmeal, my smoothie!
