OSAT Blog Hop – All You Need is Love

 

Happy February and welcome to another OSAT Blog Hope!   The theme for this month is All You Need is Love!  

 

I decided to make make some cute treat holders to pass out to friends & family.  I love to make these because they are mass producible for any occasion.  I used the new Stampin' Up! Falling in Love DSP from the Occasions catalog.  The treat holders are made out of a 6" x 6" piece of DSP.  It is folded on the diagonal and then each side is folded over (like you do when folding a diaper).  The bottom flap is then folded down to create an opening to place the treat.  To stick with the color scheme of the DSP I used cardstock in Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, and Sweet Sugarplum for the heart and sentiment.  The sentiment is finished off by being punched out with the Duet Banner punch from Very Vanilla cardstock.  Stampin' Dimensionals are used to pop the heart and the sentiment.

I love making little 3" x 3" cards and this was the perfect theme to do so.  These can be put in kids' lunches, spouse's travel suitcase, etc.  I stayed with the color scheme from the DSP - Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, and Sweet Sugarplum.  The card base is Very Vanilla 3" x 6" and scored at 3".  The mat layer is 2.75" x 2.75".  The top Very Vanilla layer is cut out with the largest square of the Stitched Shapes Framelits that have quickly become my favorite framelits!!  The "love" sentiment is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.
