TGIF! I haven't been in the craft room in weeks, so today I'm shaking off the dust and participating in this week's SIP Challenge. I needed a card for my brother-in-law, so I used this Challenge for his card. He's an avid hunter & outdoorsman which was the inspiration for the card.
The card base is Very Vanilla. The retired DSP is Adventure Bound by Stampin' Up! and was used for the banner pieces, and they were cut with the Triple Banner punch. They are 2", 1.5", and 1" strips. Cajun Craze cardstock was used for the background piece cut from the Circles Framelits. The sentiment (from Sprinkles of Life) is Mossy Meadow on Sahara Sand and the antlers (from Wonderland) in Early Espresso. The card is finished off with the Mossy Meadow Striped Cotton Ribbon that I cut in half. Have a great weekend!!

Hi Megan! What an awesome masculine card! I love your adventure bound banners... I may still be hoarding a little of that! :) I love that you used the antlers from that Wonderland set1 They were perfect for your brother-in-law's card! Thanks so much for joining us at Stamp, Ink, Paper for our sketch challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteMegan this is a great masculine card! Thank you so much for joining us this week at Stamp Ink Paper :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the masculine richness to your card. The bold dark colors say "HUNTER" to a hunter's wife. =) Thank you so much for playing with us this week at the Stamp Ink Paper Sketch Challenge.
