September D's Stamping Team USA Blog Hop

I am very excited for our first team blog hop!  We are a fabulous group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators spread throughout the US.  I hope you enjoy our first hop and will check back every month on the last Wednesday of the month.  The theme for the blog hop this month is Fall/Halloween.  I thought I would incorporate Fall in my card, but also make it a birthday card as my big brother's birthday is coming up in October.

The card base is Crumb Cake cardstock with Vintage leaves stamped in Early Espresso.  If you don't have the Vintage Leaves & coordinating framelits yet you have to get them.  They are fabulous!  Trees from Lovely as a Tree were stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock also in Early Espresso and then I cut them apart and popped with dimensionals.  The Early Espresso mat is also popped with dimensionals from the card base.  I had to incorporate one of my brother's favorite colors - red, so the Happy Birthday from Guy Greetings is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and cut out with the Washi Label punch and popped with dimensionals.
