Masculine Card Class 1 of 3 - Paper Piecing Technique

During this month of May I hosted a Masculine Card Class.  Cards for important guys are always in high demand.  The class participants walked away with 9 cards ready to send.  Today I'm sharing the first card design that used the paper piecing technique. Check back tomorrow and Saturday for the other two cards we made!




Steps:
Stamp sentiments on Whisper White with Memento Black.
Stamp hammer & screwdriver handles on Very Vanilla with Memento Black.  Cut out with Build It Framelits Dies.  Do any additional trimming to hammer & screwdriver handles.
Use Snail to adhere to DSP banner, DSP, Whisper White layer to Basic Black card base.
Use Snail to adhere Whisper White layer to Basic Black card base.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop sentiment.
Use glue dots to adhere hammer & screwdriver handles to chrome hammers & screwdrivers.
Use glue dots to adhere wrenches, hammers, & screwdrivers.

Supplies:
Nailed It Stamp Set
Guy Greetings Stamp Set
Basic Black Cardstock (8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”)
Whisper White Cardstock (4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and scrap for sentiment)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (scrap for tools)
Silver Foil (scrap for tools)
Urban Underground DSP (4” x 5 1/4” and 2” x 4 1/2”)
Memento Black Ink
Triple Banner Punch
Glue Dots
Snail Adhesive
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Whisper White Envelope
