Welcome! It's ICS blog hop time! Our theme is Technique Time! I decided to do the ghosting technique! It is where you first stamp your image in Whisper White craft ink and then stamp your image on top in your regular stamp ink color.
A good friend of mine has a birthday upcoming later this week, so I thought her birthday card would be perfect for this ghosting technique as I know she loves Fall. The card base is Very Vanilla cardstock, the mat layer is Cajun Craze at 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", and the Crumb Cake layer that I stamped on is 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". The sentiment is Very Vanilla cardstock size 3/4" x 3 1/4", and the Happy Birthday is from the Balloon Celebration stamp set stamped in Cajun Craze ink and popped with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The leaves from the Vintage Leaves stamp set are first stamped in Whisper White craft ink on your Crumb Cake cardstock. I then stamped over them in Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Crushed Curry. My one tip is to make sure you clean off your stamp when stamping the Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Crushed Curry if it gets Whisper White craft ink on it, so that you don't get Whisper White craft ink on your other ink pads.
Thanks for stopping by my post in the ICS blog hop! The next stop in your hop is the fantastic is Terri with the Triple Time Stamping Technique.
