Welcome
to D's Stamping Team USA Blog Hop for the month of May our theme is masculine! Thanks for stopping by and welcome from my friend, Tina's blog!
I was needing a sympathy card, but I needed it to be a bit more masculine. My card was inspired by this card.
It has a card base of Whisper White thick. The sentiment from Thoughts & Prayers is stamped in Memento Black ink on Whisper White regular cardstock. Here's the details on the scene....
-Cut out a 2 1/2" circle with the punch of Whisper White.
-Use a post-it note and place across circle to cover part of the circle for the sky area.
-Using a sponge dauber sponge with Sahara Sand to create the bottom part of the scene.
-Place the post-it over the bottom part you just sponged.
-Place a 1" circle cut out of post-it note (use the sticky part to keep this in place) for your sun.
-Sponge Calypso Coral in the top part of the scene for the sky.
-Sponge Soft Sky towards the top of your scene and along the edge.
-Remove the post-it notes.
-Stamp in Cucumber Crush the grass/plant stamp from the Wetlands stamp set.
The scene is popped with Stampin' Dimensionals and the 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White piece is adhered with snail.
I hope you have
enjoyed my card!
Thanks for stopping by and check out the next blog in our hop, Deb!

Happy Birthday Watercolor Scene
In April I attended the OnStage Stampin' Up! event in Salt Lake City. One of the swaps I received was this one from Betti & Barbra Jotzke-Torrier from Iowa.
This inspired me to try the technique. Here are my two cards.
These are made using the Timeless Textures stamp set. The top (green) image is colored with markers - Old Olive, Wild Wasabi, Pear Pizzazz, and Sahara Sand. The bottom (blue) image is colored with markers - Marina Mist & Tempting Turquoise. Watercolor paper was dampened by water in a AquaPainter and then the two images were stamped on that dampened paper. Once the scene is dry - pencil was used to add the birds & Wink of Stella was used to make the water shimmer. A mat of Tempting Turquoise was added and sentiment in the same ink color. The scene was popped using Stampin' Dimensionals.

OSAT Blog Hop - May Flowers
Welcome to the
One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop for May with a theme of Flowers I hope you
enjoyed the great projects from the fabulous, Elizabeth!
My inspiration for this month's theme was the Asiatic Lilies that are starting to bloom in my garden.
The card uses a base of Cucumber Crush cardstock, layer of Basic Black, another layer of Cucumber Crush topped with a layer of Whisper White. On the Whisper White I used the flowers from the Flower Patch stamp set in various colors (see list below) and accented in Basic Black. The leaves framelit is from the Botanical Builder set. The sentiment is stamped in Cucumber Crush and cut out using the Washi Label punch.
The project is a framed art piece that I will be giving to my Mom. I stamped multiple sentiments that she can attach. On the Whisper White I used the flowers from the Flower Patch stamp set in various colors (see list below) and accented in Basic Black. The sentiments are from the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set in Memento Black ink and punched out with the Washi Label punch. The sentiment is accented with the Washi Label punch from Cucumber Crush cardstock.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and project! Thanks for stopping by and check out the next blog in our hop, Justin!

ICS Blog Hop Girls Night Out
Welcome! It's ICS blog hop time! Our theme is Girls Night Out! My idea of a great Girls Night Out consists of stamping/crafting or gardening while hanging out with friends. With this in mind I had to stamp a card that included flowers!
The card base is Chocolate Chip and the wood pattern is from the retiring Farmers Market DSP. The DSP is 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" and lined up to the right side of the card base. The leaves from the Grateful Bunch stamp set were stamped directly on the DSP in Mossy Meadow. The flower from the same set was stamped in Chocolate Chip on Hello Honey three times & stamped three more time in order to popped the centers with Stampin' Dimensionals. The flowers & the centers were fuzzy cut. Stampin' Dimensionals were used to pop the flowers. The sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Chip on a Whisper White cardstock 1 1/2" x 3 1/4" and a sponge dauber was used around the edges. The triple banner punch was used to accent the sentiment. My card was inspired by this card: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/475974254349468623/.
Thanks for stopping by my post in the ICS blog hop! The next stop in your hop is Joni!
