Welcome to D's Stamping Team USA Blog Hop for the month of March our theme is birthdays! Thanks for stopping by and welcome from my friend, Tina's blog!
One of my favorite birthday bundles in the Occasions catalog for Stampin' Up! is Balloon Celebration, so I knew I had to use it for this month's hop.
The Regal collection DSP is my inspiration for the color scheme. The card base is Crushed Curry, Whisper White front layer, Regal DSP for the balloons stamped in Memento Black ink & punched out. A few of the small balloons are popped with dimensionals. The balloon strings were also stamped in Memento Black, bow is stamped in Rose Red, and Island Indigo is the Happy Birthday sentiment. Many different color schemes can be used for this card especially changing up the DSP. I've seen one with the Brights collection DSP and it looked great. I hope you have
enjoyed my card!

Welcome to the
One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop for March with a theme of Spring Has Sprung! I hope you
enjoyed the great projects from our guest blogger, Christine!
Spring has definitely started in my area here in the Midwest! Our neighbor's daffodils are blooming and our daffodils will very soon be blooming and that was inspiration for this month.
The card was made out of a Thick Whisper White with a piece of the Flowering Fields DSP. The flowers (daffodils) are made out of the Botanical Blooms stamp set & Botanical Builder framelits. Various colors were used for the flowers - Hello Honey, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, & Crushed Curry with accents of Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White. A little bit of ink was used in these same colors to add just a little accent on the flowers. The leaves were stamped in Cucumber Crush. The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from the Butterfly Basics stamp set stamped in Hello Honey on Whisper White and cut out with the Lots of Labels framelits. Dimensionals were used to pop the sentiment and flowers.
The project is a vase that I picked up at Dollar Tree. I used more of the flowers that I had leftover from the card. The vase needed a fun accent and that was accomplished with the clear/white tape from the Metallics Glitter Tape (current free Sale-a-bration item)! The flowers were added with dimensionals.
I hope you have
enjoyed my card and project!

Welcome
to our March ICS blog hop! I hope you have
enjoyed the blog hop thus far! The theme for this month is "Welcome Spring." In my neck of the woods in the Midwest we seem to have spring, back to winter, back to spring, and on & on. The calendar now says March and that means we are just weeks away from Easter.
I had to use this cute lamb & sentiment for my card. The lamb was stamped in Memento Black ink on Shimmery White cardstock, and it was colored with an AquaPainter using Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate, and Cucumber Crush. The Circles Framelits were used to to cut it out with the 5th one (starting from the smallest) and the Cucumber Crush in the 6th. The Hardwood stamp was inked in Tip Top Taupe and stamped on Thick Whisper White cardstock. A small bow was added under the sentiment and the layers were popped via Stampin' Dimensionals.
This cute Easter basket design was created by Connie Stewart and the video tutorial is here.
All the details are in this tutorial. The modifications I made were to
use the Large Dot embossing folder and the tag using Pool Party as the
base. The little chick from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set was
stamped in Memento Black in order to use the AquaPainter with Pumpkin
Pie & Daffodil Delight. It was then cut out using the Ovals
Framelits. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Rich
Razzleberry (& popped via Stampin' Dimenstionals) to match the
ribbon. It was punched with the Word Window punch. The Pool Party oval for
the tag is a leftover piece when making the handles.
This is the other Easter basket. The modifications I made were to use the Large Dot embossing folder and the tag using Calypso Coral as the base.
The cross from the Blessed by God stamp set was stamped in Early Espresso and fuzzy cut. The cross was popped with Stampin' Dimensionals A scrap of Whisper White was stamped on in Crushed Curry with the sun from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. It was then cut out using the Ovals Framelits. The
sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Rich Razzleberry (& popped via two layers of Stampin' Dimenstionals)
to match the ribbon. It was punched with the Word Window punch. The Calypso Coral oval for the tag is a leftover piece when making the handles.
I wanted to add some grass to the basket so I used my trimmer with a 6" x 6" piece of Cucumber Crush Cotton Paper cut into strips & crumbled.
Thanks for
stopping by my post in the ICS blog hop! The next stop in your hop is Joni!
