Caring Cards Class Series Day 5 of 5

This week I will be sharing the 5 cards that we did at my Caring Cards Class.  Today is the fifth and last day in this series.  If you missed the last four days be sure to check them out.  I nor my customer are really that into Valentine's Day, so in February I decided to do a class that focused on cards for sympathy, thinking of you, and get well soon to show love to friends & family in times of need.

Today's card is a sympathy card using the awesome Oh So Succulent stamp set in the 2017 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog.  My card was inspired by a few cards I found on Pinterest.

 


Steps:
Stamp sentiment on Mint Macaron scrap in Memento Black.
Cut out sentiment with Decorative Label Punch.
Stamp succulents outlines in Memento Black.
Stamp succulents fillers in Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Mint Macaron, and Rich Razzleberry.
Cut out succulents with framelits.
Use Snail to adhere succulents to Whisper White piece.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop succulents and sentiment.
Use Snail to adhere Whisper White piece to Mint Macaron card base.

Mint Macaron Cardstock (8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4” and scrap)

Caring Cards Class Series Day 4 of 5

This week I will be sharing the 5 cards that we did at my Caring Cards Class.  Today is the fourth card in this series, so be sure to check out the cards from the last few days in this series.  I nor my customer are really that into Valentine's Day, so in February I decided to do a class that focused on cards for sympathy, thinking of you, and get well soon to show love to friends & family in times of need.

Today's card is a sympathy card using the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set in the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up! Annual catalog.  My card was inspired by a card by Card-iology.



Steps:
Stamp With Heartfelt Sympathy on Whisper White scrap in Night of Navy.
Cut out with Lots of Labels Framelits.
Cut out three Petite Petals from Night of Navy cardstock.
Attach Pearls to flowers.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop flowers from sentiment.
Use Snail to adhere to DSP and DSP to Night of Navy card base.
Stamp inside sentiment in Night of Navy on Whisper White inside piece. 
Use Snail to adhere strip of DSP to bottom of Whisper White inside piece.

Night of Navy Cardstock (8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”)
Whisper White Cardstock 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and large scrap for sentiment)

Caring Cards Class Series Day 3 of 5

This week I will be sharing the 5 cards that we did at my Caring Cards Class.  Today is the third day of cards, so if you missed yesterday's be sure to check it out.  I nor my customer are really that into Valentine's Day, so in February I decided to do a class that focused on cards for sympathy, thinking of you, and get well soon to show love to friends & family in times of need.

Today's card is a get well soon card using the Get Well Soup stamp in the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up! Annual catalog.  My card was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest by sallystampers.



Steps:
Stamp image in Archival Black ink on thick Whisper White piece.
Stamp heart in Real Red.
Cut out heart.
Use markers to color image (words – Tip Top Taupe, soup – Watermelon Wonder, bowl – Mint Macaron, spoon hearts – Real Red).
Use Snail to adhere image to Mint Macaron layer.
Use Snail to adhere these layers to note card base.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop heart.

Whisper White Note Card
Thick Whisper White Cardstock (3 1/4” x 4 3/4”)
Mint Macaron Cardstock (3 3/8” x 4 7/8”)

Today's card is a hopeful/thinking of you card using the wonderful High Tide stamp set in the 2017 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog.  My card was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest by Kimberly Van Diepen.




Steps:
Stamp lighthouse in Calypso Coral on scrap of Whisper White (full strength part 1 & half strength part 2).
Cut out lighthouse.
Stamp sand in Sahara Sand.
Stamp grasses in Crumb Cake.
Stamp birds in air in Crumb Cake.
Stamp birds in Early Espresso.
Stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral on scrap of Whisper White.
Cut sentiment out with Stitched Shapes Framelits square.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop lighthouse and sentiment.
Use Snail to adhere DSP to thick Whisper White card base.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to scene to thick Whisper White card base.

Steps:
Sponge Soft Sky at top of regular Whisper White piece.
Stamp birds in Memento Black ink.
Stamp With Sympathy in Memento Black ink.
Stamp water in Marina Mist twice at bottom of regular Whisper White piece.
Use Snail to adhere to regular Whisper White piece to thick Whisper White card base.
